The result was surprising and hugely satisfying: one of the highest scores awarded by the judges across the season's episodes, and a final win for our two hostesses! Recognised were not only Giulia's knowledge of Tuscan history and both women's passion for traditional Florentine cooking, but also the beauty of the place and the patient restoration work on our country farmhouse — a lifelong dream and the result of great sacrifice.
